This author beings to life the universe of Star Wars. Showing of the Naboo people and their way of life was interesting.
Seeing Padme Amidala in a new role as senator was interesting and to see the lengths she goes to protect herself and her entourage.
I think what I like is seeing the aftermath of what happened when she was no longer Queen and what her handmaidens were to do. I found that more interesting and thought that the political parts also made the entire book worth reading.
This isn’t the action filled book that you normally see in Star Wars it shows the diverse government and how each system is dealt with. Definitely this author has the knack of pushing things in different directions and really making you feel that you are there in the Senate.
Wonderful story which ends with what Sabe will do after her friends death. I want a lot more of this story as would love to know what happened to some of the others
