She’s Gone by MA Comley

This book was a lot different for me in that I wasn’t enamored with the characters however I do enjoy the story.

While the difference in this book makes it desirable it also makes it harder for me not to compare this book to the others that I loved.

This book shows a different style then I was originally used to and has some very tough subjects that we get to see.

A child goes missing a parents worst nightmare. The story starts from their and just keeps going up showing so many different facets of thrillers.

I wasn’t in suspense the entire time but it had a lot of amazing parts. I must say after reading most of this authors work while it was great it didn’t really hold up as well as some of her other books.

Deb seems to be one of the most annoying characters who goes from one extreme to the other. I don’t know if that was what was intended but she really reminded me a lot of a crazy lady. Yes I felt sorry for her when Adele was missing but some of her behaviours seemed less like a caring mother and more like an insane psycho.

Martin seemed so loving in most scenes but he confused me as well as he was with too many people and seemed to be taken in by Deb too easily. He drove me nuts as well with that type of attitude even if I did find that he was better than her.
