The Last Jedi by Jude Watson

A great series that has 10 books part of it. It starts off basically after the Empire takes over but ends before the Rebellion really gains any hold.

It is great to see some new characters as well as getting to meet the old characters again and see just what they have done especially since Order 66.

The main character is Ferus Olin a Jedi apprentice who left the order before the Jedi were almost wiped out. He shows a different side to a Jedi where they have attachments to others and will risk their lives to help their home worlds. While he is the main character and you see him go from being a person who has lost his force abilities to someone who goes down a darker path and then back to the light.

The other main character you see is a teenage boy who has lost his family. Trever just has so much to offer and he has the heart to keep Ferus linked to his past and to bring him back from anything.

The series also has a lot of recurring cast members who make the story great including guest appearances by Obi-Wan Kenobi, Bail Organa, and Dex. All have some parts in this series some minor and it shows just how great Jude Watson does with creating this masterpiece of work.

The author really has done a super job with this and you see the weaving of the story with intricate details as well as seeing characters who bring to life a whole new side of Star Wars universe.
