The Hunter by Linda S Prather

That prologue just gave me chills. I can see that the prologue is going to make this such an amazing book as it gave me the chills.

This author is a master of the subtle art of writing paranormal thrillers. It is probably one of the hardest genre to get right. You have to keep things going but not make it too easy with the magic.

Jack Slade annoys me at times but he does seem to take an interest in all the cases he deals with even if he does seem that he is brutal with what he is doing.

Selina while not the most upstanding citizen is after justice for her sister and she doesn’t really think of what she should do. Her career choice while not great she shows a great deal of ability in healing as you see her more doing care giving.

Selina is such a resourceful woman who would make the best partner for someone like Slade. She has brains and she also has the guts to do what is needed. I feel that she is the best of them and could get Slade back to being human.

The story was so enthralling and I just can’t help myself to thinking this will be one of the most amazing series ever. The characters just seem to interact so smoothly together and even the characters I didn’t enjoy at first grew on me.

This story is one of the best I have read. There is so much to offer in it both from cultural standpoint as well as action.

I love the idea of seeing the Native American life as it’s a culture that interests me but one that I don’t know much about. This book was so good for opening my eyes about what this group of people go through as well as how they can be easily preyed upon.

Such a great story and can’t wait for the next installment as I want to really know what is next.

How this book made me feel is hard to describe at times. There were characters I wanted to strangle and ones that I just loved from the start. I loved the fact that you saw action and adventure. I also loved the happy style ending as well with all items but one tied up on a neat little package.

The Hunter is such a suitable moniker for the main character but I do believe that this group has another purpose and that they are all true warriors and will help people gain justice.
