There is a reason why dragons feature so heavily in children’s story. What child doesn’t love a magical creature that can fly and can breath fire or cast magic spells.
Being a big nerd I love the mystical beings and this was so entertaining. Written as a children’s book it doesn’t just appeal to children but the inner child of us all.
This book brought together other elements of the fantastical as well which really draws you in.
I loved the aspects of chameleons that this book brought in for dragons. It is such an interesting idea and one I don’t recall seeing before. I saw a lot about shape shifting but this just made the book better as it’s not a normal item you hear for dragons.
I also like how dragons are the main characters and aren’t portrayed as evil. It shows a vast change in many ways since the often evil creatures are seen in a much nicer light.
I do love that there is much you can learn about our own world from this book and thinks it sets a great example for kids these days.
The pictures are very intriguing in this book as well. The mermaid and dragons and the rock goblins. It is so great to see the picture and how strong of drawings they are. Whoever worked on all these pictures is genius.
