My Thoughts
Let me first off saying this isn’t my normal type of read but I was very intrigued by the book thinking that this could easily be of help to many of us.
I really enjoyed the stories that they deal with and talking about the people involved. It had a lot of facts and shows a lot of optimism as well as the reality of the situations.
I like learning and this has a lot of interesting items that I never would have learned. I really enjoyed the railway stories. My grandfather worked on the railways as do two of my cousins. I think that this was for me the more fun part and it made me feel more connected to my Grandfather.
I probably wouldn’t have grabbed this book had I been looking in a store. It isn’t because this isn’t interesting but because this genre isn’t put out in the public eye. I do hope that this book will be pushed as I really think it had so many eye openers and the writing style was very good.
For me I would definitely recommend this book as I think it’s always good to learn about the past as it could easily be something for the future.
I feel that this this book I have a better understanding of the past and more especially of setting goals and pushing to meet those goals.
I want to thank the author, publisher and Anne Cater for allowing me this opportunity to read and review this book.
