How does death change your perspective?

There are a number of items that can cause your perspective to change. Death is one of those that can easily screw with your perspective.

Being an aspiring author I have seen how I write when under the influence of the emotions caused by the death of someone I know. It makes my writing feel more powerful and more able to connect with me.

My personality has changed that death isn’t as much of a changer for me anymore. Let me explain a bit with this. I have worked finance for over 20 years and have spent the last 15 or more dealing with estate accounts in one form or another.

At first I used to be upset when I worked there but you get that outer shell of toughness eventually and even joke about it. I can separate myself from my work easily enough where it doesn’t affect me the same way.

Personal life my perspective changed based on watching people I loved slowly dying from diseases or other complications. Seeing them suffer changed me to where I believe that it must happen for a reason and that reason is to stop the suffering.
