This is the third book in the Dylan Munroe series. I am very excited about this as the first book was one Ioved a lot and the second book was not far behind the first.
Murder mysteries are some of my most favourite reads and with a character that is unique as Dylan you just know that the excitement is waiting.
Dylan is a character that I think was very attractive especially as the first book showed just how strong a character he was. He isn’t defined by his job but he incorporates his job into his life which is a lot of fun to read about. After he was shown as Avaline I just wanted more of this character.
The humour of this book enhanced the book so much however it can detract from the story of not done well. The humour wasn’t all the time and was put in the right place.
There are some very gruesome parts in this book but I love that as I love everything about this story. Love the whole story so much as it shows a lot of psychology in the why and what is happening.
The character Steve drives me nuts but I think that is what his purpose is at times. He just makes me wish that Dylan would end it with him so I don’t have to see him again at times and others I want him to change to that Dylan is happy.
Bella is one of those characters who seems to be interesting and would make a good lead. I do think she isn’t always the best as a friend and she seems to be more concerned about work than her family at least from one point of view.
Roy is one that I dislike a lot I find because he just seems very rude and wants to make people fear him at times. He just isn’t the friend that I would want.
This is a proper who done is mystery and I love it and even up to the end I didn’t know who the killer was or if my guesses were even going to be close.
It is great not being able to figure this out and really makes me feel that the book did its job and that’s one way for me to push a good book to great book.
This book definitely had everything. Action and mystery as well as relationship and character building. Just what I always like something to really sink my teeth into.
