Finally I finished the first season of this show and the main reason was to get to the next season which I am more looking forward to.
I was disappointed in the storytelling of the first season finding that they relied too much on the cuteness factor from the Child. To me it felt that it was a cheap way to make the show more popular instead of piggybacking off of the Mandolorian culture.
I didn’t mind the last couple of episodes however nothing really stood out to me in the first season. The characters that many liked I found were boring such as Din Djarin and Cara Dune. Both of those characters felt like they were more support characters for Grogu.
This has started to change and the show has started to grow on me including Din and I think the first season was an anomaly for me as I just wasn’t that interested or invested in the characters.
