Dundurn Press

Recently I met an author who had his book published by Dundurn Press. I was very impressed by the author that I wanted to find out more about who publishes him as well as what other books they have.

After finishing the memoir of Mitchell Consky Home Safe I was impressed with the writing as well as the cover and editing of the book. It got me looking at the books that are with this Publisher even more. It has allowed me to find a new publisher that I need to look for more.

The first book is Home Safe by Mitchell Consky and I finished reading it in a couple of hours it was very well written and I highly recommend this.

In October 2023 there will be a release that I am most looking forward to called 9 Lives by 35 by Mary Sanders. It is a gymnastics book and this is very attractive for me. With me being an artistic gymnast in the past this really makes me want to read it even if it’s not the gymnastics that I worked on it still is rythmic

Also in October Brenda Chapman book Butterfly Kisses comes out which sounds intriguing so I am looking forward to this as well.

August Babak Laghomi also has a book coming out called South and I am looking forward to this.

August as well brings Stolen Family by Joanne Durocher. Since this is translated I am not as comfortable as always something seems lost but it sounds interesting read.

Wine Witch on Fire is a memoir that looks like it would be a polarizing read. Written by Natalie MacLean.

I also bought a few other books when I was at Toronto Book Festival from their booth.
