How do you know when it’s time to unplug? What do you do to make it happen?
Unplugging is almost impossible especially in a world where everything is online. This includes a work from home environment because of Covid and the lock downs.
Also most hobbies also have an online perspective or an electronic one. I play video games, read ebooks as well as blog which are all through my phone.
For some people unplugging is using electronics for the pleasure that they use for relaxation. For me it doesn’t always happen but it’s hard to know when it is time to shut it down.
For me I know that when I start feeling stressed and I know that my body and mind want to shut down.
When that happens I tend to go camping with my family as it really does help to relieve the stress.
Once a day I put my phone further away from me and meditate so that I can shut down my brain for a bit. Many believe that you should not have electronics on when you are attempting to wind down or trying to sleep.
I agree that the screens are hard on your eyes but I also think that they are necessary to at least be connected since we are in a world that we know has gone through a huge shakeup due to Covid and the lock down that has happened.
