My thoughts
The 19th book in the Alton and Kane series which is one of my favourite series.
Jenna Alton is a strong character who is independent and can take care of herself and everyone else around her including her Husband.
Dave Kane is my favourite character and is the protective person in this series. He can be strong and he is supportive but I wouldn’t want to get on his bad side either. He loves Jenna and he would do anything to protect his friends and family.
I feel sorry for all those people who live in BlackRock Falls as they seem to be stuck in a huge red zone were serial killers seemed to love to go.
The story was quite good but had some of the previous crimes that happened against Jenna. This is not a bad thing but it felt like I was reading the book again at times when it is a new book.
I do like it as well as it does show the strength of the characters as well as the way that they have feelings for each other and the friends.
When I read these books I feel refreshed as I just love the characters so much. I feel as I am part of the journey that has been happening since book 1
