Arrow Flight by Mercedes Lackey

Arrows Flight is the second book in the Arrows trilogy about my favourite character Talia. This one she is a little older having finished her training and now was on her internship.

This book was for me the weakest of the trilogy and my least favourite. Don’t get me wrong I still love it but I hated what happened to Talia here in this book.

She is off on her internship with her mentor Kris and both of their spirit horses called companions.

Kris was a great character and he is one of the main character for two of the three books in this series. He is an amazingly designed character who interacts well with Talia.

Talia and Rolan her companion show so much stubbornness as well as a very big issue that they must overcome with the help of Kris and Tantris his companion.

Talia went through so much in this book and you really see how fallible the training can be when it is done in an environment which isn’t one on one but multiple people being trained by an instructor who doesn’t share the same gift
