Risk is not always a smart thing to want to take. It’s difficult to know what risk is acceptable and each person must decide what their threshold is.

For me I don’t like the risky part of life for the most part. The one thing I want to do which is risky is to release my own book.

Authors don’t tend to make enough to survive unless they are the top percent of authors. It just isn’t viable to sustain a way of life being just an author.

Also it is risky putting your book out there as you put your heart and soul into your writing and you know that everyone will have an opinion on what you should or shouldn’t do or how you should write.
