Just wow MA Comley never disappoints with her work. The newest in the Sally Parker Cold case series has been released and I love the way this book unfolds.
Sally and Lorne both of whom are amazing characters that this author has brought to life. Lorne has her own hit series with the Justice books but adding her to this cold case series has really made this series even better.
While Sally is the star of this series there are many times I think Lorne has slightly taken away from that and they make a hugely popular and great team. Both have management experience and you can see that they have huge respect for each other.
What I really like is that they always show Lorne I’m the positive light of her marriage and her rescue facility. I love that the dog rescue isnpaet of the character and it is being shown always. The same with her second marriage and how she deals with disabilities in her day to day life.
This case was definitely interesting as it’s not one I have seen before in the books but have seen on some tv shows. I love the idea of the freezing of the body as it will screw up with the length of time they believe that the person was dead. It certainly makes it such an interesting take as well.
It is a truly gifted author who can write so many amazing series. I think that this while not quite as good as Hero yet I do think that Sally Parker series is quickly becoming one of my favourites. The author has such great ideas and the cold case items really have me very excited.
