Best of the Best 2021

It is great to be reading and this year I have had a phenomenal year with reading and also with my own writing. While the writing didn’t go as planned it was still great to really sit down to tell my own stories then focusing on others. So in no particular order here are my Best of the Best for 2021

Over the Boards by Hailey Wickenheiser. This was a recent read but it was a great book and is non-fiction which I have started to get hooked on again.

The Safe Place by LA Larkin. This really shocked me and I enjoyed this so much that it deserves to be mentioned. My first book by this author but not my last.

The Midnight Man by Caroline Mitchell. A very good book and was living how this author over all my years has consistently been a best of the best.

Damaged by Don Scottow. I was shocked with this book and really enjoyed the writing style as well as the characters.

The BookBinders daughter by Jessica Thorne. Such an interesting book and really had so much to offer.

Kill Chase by Marrissa Farrar. Such a great storyteller and not what I was expecting but amazing.

Master and apprentice by Claudia gray. Star wars is making an appearance and wow this book just blew me away.

Lose your breath by DK Hood. This is the prequel of David Kane. The prequel just blew me away with the writing and seeing Dave in a different light.

Prowlers by MA Comley. This author always has me on the edge of my seat especially with Hero Nelson at the helm.

And finally the crazy man himself Nathan James Miss who wrote All Your Fault and of course it always is his fault. He has kept me entertained with his posts and he has a knack for marketing.

  1. Hi Sean!

Thanks for the great review of my first Jamie Quinn mystery, Death by Didgeridoo. I’m glad you enjoyed it. πŸ™‚ If you’d like to read the next book in the series, The Case of the Killer Divorce, I’d be happy to send it to you as a .mobi, PDF, ePub, or gifted through Amazon.com. I don’t have an account through Amazon Canada, I’m afraid. Happy New Year!

    Best,

      1. Well, you made my day. πŸ˜€ A nice start to the new year. You may be interested to know I got the idea for the first book when I was trying to learn to play the didgeridoo. I accidentally dropped it and cracked a glass table top. Next thing you know, my husband walks into the room and I’m swinging the didgeridoo around. He asked why and I said I wanted to see if you could kill someone with a didgeridoo. He looked a little concerned and then asked me what time we were having dinner. πŸ˜›
