My thoughts
Not having read much by this author I really wasn’t sure what I should expect from her stories. Short stories I always have found hot or miss but in this case I was very excited as most short stories I have been able to get my hands on are in the fantasy genre and not crime.
One question I asked myself is do short stories work in the crime genre. I must say that yes they do work and they work well. It gives the taste of the authors style as well as gives you the most important part of the crime books.
The Reckoning is my favourite of the stories.
What I really like is the vivid story telling that the author uses. She has a very large talent when it comes to her writing. She keeps you guessing and make you have feeling for the characters even if some of them are of hatred or disgust.
Shorter works or fiction are a passion of mine both in reading and writing. With short stories or shorter works of fiction there are always ones that don’t sit right with me. This book didn’t have that which to me is utterly unique.
The main question is would I read more from this author Including more short fiction and the answer is yes I would.
I am very interested in reading more from this author and definitely full length novels as well. I think she could easily become one of my top authors.
I am impressed. I must thank the author and Anne Cater for the book as well as for the chance to take part in this blogtour.

Thanks for the blog tour support x
