Name the professional athletes you respect the most and why.

For me I have four hat I really respect that are professional gymnasts

I will start with Shannon Miller. For years she was the best the USA had to offer in gymnastics. She was very quiet and she always did her best. She became a great mentor to many and the way she conquered both stalking when in college as well as how she fought her cancer.

Dominique Moceanu she was a small Romanian girl from the USA she suffered abuse from the top coaches in the sport. She reported the abuse and even was emancipated as her parents were partially responsible. She never wavered from her truth and when the Nassar case came out she was one of those who supported the gymnasts without question despite her not being listened to years earlier.

Amanda Borden she to me was the ultimate athlete. She was the team captain in 1996 and she always had a smile on her face. Gymnastics USA at the time was very corrupt and she became one of the best for the sport. She became a commentator and is up there in my mind with Bart Connor. She now coaches people as well and to me that is how to cap off your career by giving back to the sport.

Simone Biles she is the most decorated gymnast male or female in history. She is not the traditional look and is more power than grace. She was abused by Nassar and USA gymnastics but she survived what happened and made sure that she spoke up. She still speaks up with herself when she wasn’t in the right space and ended up with the twisties she spoke up and did what no other gymnast had done by ensuring her health was taken care of
