If you could meet a historical figure, who would it be and why?

That’s hard as there are so many amazing figures that we have had in history that would be amazing to meet.

For me I would love to meet Romeo Dallaire he is a former Lt General in Canada and he spoke out about PTSD as well as wrote books about his time in the Canadian Military. He was in charge of the UN forces during the genocide in Rwanda.

His writing his book Shake Hands with the Devil shed a lot of light on what it is like and the orders that you need to follow sometimes against your conscience.

Another thing is that he has spoken out about child soldiers and tried to push for Morne legislation in the international events to help protect the young.

He also wrote about the struggles of PTSD which was admirable and he also does motivational talks and he would be a treat to hear speak about his life as well as his service to our country
