Write about your approach to budgeting

Having worked in finance for over 20 years I can tell you in my perspective budgeting doesn’t work.

People will always overspend.  It is best to provide a very loose amount for your budget especially with rising prices and taxes.

However that’s not to say you shouldn’t try to save money. One thing that works for me is each paycheck the company takes a percent of my pay and then it goes to my pension which the company also matches.
